Ingredients (2 portions)
300 g pumpkin
300 g mushrooms
150 g potatoes
1 onion
500 ml vegetable broth
4 Tabasco peppers
2 tablespoons of tomato paste
8 radishes
4 pitted black olives
extra virgin olive oil
salt
Preparation
The recipe for the spicy soup of the Witch combines the choice of ingredients typical of the autumn season (such as pumpkin and mushrooms) with a humorous and "scary" presentation in theme with Halloween; of course it is enriched by a touch of chili, typical of Hot Chili World.
To prepare it, peel and thinly slice the onion, peel and cut into small cubes the potatoes and the pumpkin. Sauté these vegetables in a pan with two tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, along with two finely chopped Tabasco peppers.
Meanwhile, clean the mushrooms and cut them into pieces, then add them to the other vegetables. Sauté for a few minutes, then add salt, 500 ml of boiling broth and two tablespoons of tomato paste. Cover the pan and cook over medium heat for 30-40 minutes.
Peel the radishes and dig in the middle of each one with a boxcutter, creating a hole where you can insert half black olive; in the center of the olive, place a piece of red Tabasco pepper: in this way, the radishes will assume the spectral appearance of devilish eyeballs.
Serve the spicy soup of the Witch very hot, garnished with the radish eyeballs.
