200 ml milk
1 cube brewer's yeast
2 teaspoons of hot curry powder
1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
2 teaspoons of sugar cane
2 teaspoons of salt
sesame seeds
Preparation
The milk flat bread with curry and sesame seeds is a tasty and particular baked product, enriched by the exotic aroma of the spicy curry: it can be enjoyed as an accompaniment to other dishes or as a main dish, filled with pleasure.
To prepare it, first mix in a bowl the flour, the sugar, the salt and the hot curry powder. Warm the milk and dissolve the yeast, then gradually add the milk and the olive oil to the other ingredients, mixing with a wooden spoon. Continue working the dough with your hands until it will become smooth and elastic. Then cover with a damp cloth and let rise for about an hour in a warm place, away from drafts (eg in an oven heated to 50 °C and then turned off).
Once risen, roll out the dough to about 1.5 cm thick and place on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Sprinkle the surface with sesame seeds and a pinch of salt, brush with olive oil and bake in preheated oven at 200 °C for about 20 minutes.
The milk flat bread with curry and sesame seeds is very good both warm or cold, so it is very suitable for an outdoor picnic.
